WOLF WYTCH

CREATING WOODCUT-MAGIC FOR an INDEPENDENT APOTHECARY in the heart of nottingham

  • Over the past three years, Wolf Wytch has collaborated closely with our illustrator, Hannah Tedd, to develop a distinctive series of medieval woodcut–inspired illustrations. These designs align seamlessly with the brand’s aesthetic while helping their products stand out within the apothecary space.

We’ve created a versatile suite of illustrations used across labels, wax melts, and merchandise, establishing a cohesive visual identity that makes their products instantly recognisable.

  • To date, we’ve hand-illustrated over 20 individual visuals for Wolf Wytch, each contributing to their evolving visual world.

Our collaboration began in 2023, when founder Lauren approached us to create a woodcut-style illustration of Black Phillip. This initial piece led to the launch of a namesake collection, spanning candles, wax melts, snap bars, and reed diffusers.

In 2025, we supported the relaunch of the Deity Collection, producing four bespoke illustrations of Hecate, Circe, The Morrigan, and Persephone. These designs were applied across a range of products, including wax melts, labels, and candles, further strengthening the collection’s distinct identity.

  • Overall, our ongoing collaboration with Wolf Wytch has helped shape a distinctive and cohesive visual identity that runs consistently across their product range. By combining traditional woodcut influences with carefully considered application, we’ve created a body of work that not only reflects the brand’s character but also enhances its presence within a growing market.

The result is a recognisable and evolving illustration style that continues to support new product launches while reinforcing Wolf Wytch’s unique position within the apothecary space.
